The Process + how it works

I'm a family and lifestyle photographer, meaning I am all about connection and documenting life as it happens. My number one aim is to capture the essence of you and your loved ones. I will gently prompt and guide you through our session, but never explicitly pose you.

Yes, I love to explore new places! Travel within 30 minutes of my location is included in the session fee. An additional travel charge may be charged for travel in excess of this, please reach out to discuss!

To secure your spot and make sure I can give you the best experience, I recommend booking in as early as you can. Many maternity and newborn clients reach out as soon as they find out they’re expecting; especially for those popular spring months like September and October!

For outdoor shoots, my favourite time to photograph is the hour before sunset, so we can capture that beautiful, golden glow!

Alternatively, for in-home shoots mid-morning or mid-afternoon are ideal.

Unfortunately we can't control mother nature! On the day of your session I will monitor the weather and keep in touch. Don't be alarmed by the forecast, as we all know they often get it wrong! However if need be, I will contact you as early as possible to discuss our options.

I feel so honoured to be one of the first people to visit and hold your newborn. I am up to date with my dTAP (whooping cough) and all other recommended vaccinations. I also have my working with children check.

Yes! Mini sessions are a wonderful way to capture quick but meaningful moments. I don't advertise mini sessions on my website because they're usually pretty spontaneous, so be sure to follow along on Instagram or join the newsletter to find out when the next one is happening.
